Tintype Portrait Studio FAQ
What is the difference between “Individual Portrait Session” and “Walk-In” Portraits?
The “Walk-In” portrait day takes place every 4-6 weeks and offers the possibility of getting your portrait done in 30 minutes.
The “Tintype Portrait Day” takes place every 4-6 weeks and offers the possibility of walk-in portraits in 30 minutes.
Individual portrait sessions, on the other hand, consist of approx. 3 plates in which lighting situations can be changed and much more variation can take place.
What do I need to consider regarding clothing?
Collodion is very sensitive to blue colors and is not sensitive to red colors. This is why blue is reproduced very brightly and red very darkly. Patterns usually always fit very well.
What payment options are available?
You can pay by bank transfer, card, Paypal or cash in the store.
What plate sizes are possible?
I currently offer plate sizes up to 11×14″ in portrait sessions. However, plate sizes up to 40x50cm are also possible.

Yes, I look forward to your call on +49 160 550 38 66.
Do you also photograph weddings and events?
My equipment is mobile (by car) and of course I also photograph events and weddings. If something like this would be interesting for you, please send me an e-mail.
