A portrait with the large-format camera is always a special encounter. Here I show people I have met over the past few years – friends and passing acquaintances whom I invite into my studio.
The focus is on personality. The exposure lasts several seconds, and the result is always unique – on metal, on glass or as a contact print on salt or albumen paper.
