Since 2020 I have been photographing Berlin, a city that never stops changing. I am drawn to its places, old and new, and to the history they hold.
With its fine resolution, the wet collodion process renders the details, contours and contrasts of buildings with great precision. The mobile darkroom, in which the plates are developed on site, is a constant companion.
The photographs shown here were made in Berlin on 4x5" and 24x30cm plates.
